Composer BBC
Galapagos was composed for a BBC competition. The brief broke the film into 4 distinct acts. Firstly a theme was to be developed, introducing the Galapagos Islands with a sense of awe, mystique and wonder. Flowing on naturally from the first act, the key Galapagos characters then had to be established with fresh vigour and pace. The third act shows the charm, texture, intimacy and inherent beauty of the wildlife in Galapagos, to be presented with gentle pacing and a cultural twist, whilst the fourth act was the dramatic conclusion, gathering momentum and ultimately reaching a title climax.
